Unlike some agencies we believe that our care staff are not there to simply fill a shift on your rota but are there to add value to the experience that your residents receive. All staff have been recruited in line with CQC requirements and are subject to the same level of management and supervision as the staff responsible for delivering our regulated activity.

Throughout a rigorous and stringent recruitment process all potential staff are scrutinised as to their suitability ensuring punctuality, commitment and most importantly a dedication to care. All aspects are overseen by a dedicated recruitment team and overseen by the registered manager to ensure full compliance is achieved prior to placement.
With the current COVID pandemic effecting the way we are working all staff are required to complete a rapid flow testing before commencing any shifts and will not be placed into an establishment until is confirmed they are not carrying the infection.
We want to change the dynamics of agency staffing by providing staff at all levels who not only provide the care and support that your residents require but are also an effective member of your team whenever they are in your establishment.

Local Homecare understands that in these uncertain times, staffing levels can be the biggest headache in meeting the expectations of the service user. We are aware that with COVID-19 sweeping the country everyone within social care is vulnerable to many staff absences, often at short notice. We also understand that with the current underoccupancy issues that finances can be strained which is why we have reviewed our pricing to reflect this.
We are currently providing care staff within a COVID-19 bubble and any staff who have worked in an environment which has subsequently had a COVID-19 positive result, they will automatically not be rostered for 14 days or a negative swab result recorded.
